Reed Pen

A reed pen with a chisel-cut nib, hollow ends, and grooves that read as grown reed. Scale it to make a mismatched set.

Printing

Load reed_pen.stl and its break-off stabiliser reed_pen_fin.stl as one object with two parts. Print standing on the wide end, nib up, with about 0.12 mm layers and a brim.

Snap the ties off the stabiliser and sand the stubs.

Finishing

Don’t oversand. Mix raw sienna and burnt umber 5:1 and brush thin coats along the length. Add dark ink stains on the nib if you like.
